Purpose:Italy: Rome: ? Villa Mattei Celimontana. View of a two-storied villa with pitched roof and chimneys and various outbuildings raised on a buttressed wall, with garden and pavilions adjoining a circular church with projecting portico.

This may be a view of the Villa Mattei Celimontana in Rome seen from the south, with possibly S. Stefano Rotondo in the distance (see I. Barsali, Ville di Roma: Lazio, Milan, 1970, p.385). There is a similar oblong view on grey paper in Adam vol.57/118 that is in the same hand.
