Purpose:Italy: Rome: ? Palatine ruins. View of two vaulted structures, probably among the Palatine ruins in Rome; one has the remains of diamond-shaped stucco decoration. Above is a two-storied ruined building.

Notes

This is probably a view among the Palatine ruins. The stucco decoration is that seen in the Temple of Venus and Rome in the Forum, of which Robert Adam made several views and compositions.
