Welcome to the online catalogue of drawings from the office of Robert and James Adam.

The 9,000 drawings are being catalogued in the same arrangement as they were when they entered Soane's collection in 1833, in 57 albums.

The first catalogue entries to appear here deal with the Grand Tours of Robert and then James Adam. They have been catalogued by Prof. A. A. Tait.
